On Apr. 2nd, 2014, Campaign of Setting up Demonstration Counties of Agrichemical Service and Jointly Promoting Formula Fertilization between MOA and companies --“Sinofert Devotion and Rural Dreams” was kicked off in Heshan District of Yiyang, Hunan Province. The campaign was jointly organized by Department of Crop Farming Administration of Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) and Sinochem Fertilizer Company Limited (Sinofert).

The theme of the campaign is “promoting scientific fertilization and guaranteeing food security”. It is aimed at promoting technology on scientific fertilization and continual & sound development of China’s agriculture within 3 years through the joint efforts among Sinofert, a subsidiary of Sinochem, agriculture related government agencies, local government and research institutions.

“Sinofert Devotion and Rural Dreams” is one of the national wide non-profit agrichemical service projects conducted by Sinochem. Over 200 delegates attended the kickoff ceremony, including those from Department of Crop Farming Administration of MOA, National Agricultural Technology Extension and Service Center, Expert Panel on Soil Testing & Formula Fertilization of MOA, National Soil and Fertilizer Working Station, Sinochem, Sinofert, and large local growers. He Caiwen, Deputy Director of Department of Crop Farming Administration of MOA, Han Gensheng, Vice President of Sinochem, Li Zhichun, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Department of Hunan Provincial Government and Wang Hongjun, General Manager of Sinofert addressed the ceremony respectively.
