From Jul. 25 to 26, Sinofert held its half-year working conference of 2013 in Beijing. Over 170 people including the management team and the key-positioned employees attended the conference.

During the conference, the spirit of the 2013 half-year working conference of Sinochem was studied, the business operation management and strategy progress for 1H were carefully examined, severe situation faced by the company was analyzed, objective evaluation of the performance was made, & key problems were identified. The operation philosophy and key initiatives for 2H were clarified. The company will unite on the ideology and strengthen confidence to strive for accomplishing the annual budget.

On the conference, Gao Jian, CFO, made the presentation of “Report on Performance Evaluation and Strategy Progress on 1H 2013”; 5 units, i.e. Sinochem UK, Potash Dept., Phosphate Dept., Jiangsu Branch Company, and Guangxi Branch Company, gave typical speeches respectively; & an expert from the Ministry of Agriculture was invited to deliver a lecture on “Opportunities of Special Cooperatives among Farmers and Agri-business Operation”. Group discussions were conducted during the conference and the leaders of production and operation segments also addressed the conference respectively.

At the end of the conference, Feng Zhibin, CEO of Sinofert, made a summarizing speech. Mr. Feng talked extensively on the issues concerning the comprehensive and long term development of the company, provided solutions, & requested the company to enhance fundamental management, focus on current operating and key links, as so to forge a management and control model that is suitable for Sinofert.
