On Apr. 15, Sinofert Day, hosted by Sinofert and participated by Canpotex, was held in Shanghai successfully.

The event was hosted by CEO Wang Hongjun and Vice Presidents Harry Yang, Feng Mingwei and Lu Fangbin of Sinofert. Distinguished guests in attendance were Steven Dechka, CEO of Canpotex, Bill Doyle, CEO of PotashCorp, Chuck Magro, CEO of Agrium, Richard McLellan, Senior Vice President of Mosaic and other executives of Canpotex, PotashCorp, Agrium and Mosaic.

The guests visited Sinofert’s distribution store/warehouse, farmers’ training event, & asparagus and strawberry demonstration fields in Chongming Island of Shanghai. They listened to the presentation by Sinofert on “China’s Agricultural Modernization and Sinofert’s Development Strategy. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on the market situation in China and on their potential cooperation.

In the address given by Wang Hongjun, CEO of Sinofert, during dinner, Mr. Wang talked about the 42 years of cooperation history between Sinofert and Canpotex, believing that the two companies join hands in pursuit for the same mission and vision, i.e. to try their best to increase the grain yield and quality across the globe. Mr. Wang said that the two companies have established solid “brotherly partnership”.

Through this event of “Sinofert Day”, the guests have got a better understanding of China’s agricultural modernization and Sinofert’s development strategy. The event also demonstrated Sinofert’s efforts and achievement in promoting Canadian potash, showcasing Sinofert’ corporate culture and market position, & enhanced the friendship between the two companies.
